Examinations and Assignments:
Six brief compositions, using modal, pandiatonic, free chromatic, serial, chance, and minimalist techniques. The final exam will consist of a seventh composition, using any of these techniques, and/or others utilized in the twentieth century. |
Additional Requirements and/or Comments:
First-year students and Sophomores excluded.
MUSC 109 or MUSC 201 or MUS 202 are the prerequisites for this course. |
