Elements of Calculus, Part I MATH 119 Fall 2025 Section: 01   02   03   Course Cluster and Certificates: Health Studies This course is the first half of a two-semester calculus sequence (MATH119, MATH120). This sequence is designed for students who have not previously studied calculus. The course, together with MATH120, will cover limits, derivatives, and integrals. Exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions will be introduced and their calculus will be studied. Applications of calculus to biology, economics, physics, and/or other fields will be emphasized.
