This course will enable students admitted into the Human Rights Advocacy Minor (HRAM) to engage in critical assessment of human rights advocacy after having participated in field work. To be eligible for this course, students must already have taken CSPL 316 (Intro Human Rights Advocacy). The course will involve seminar discussions and readings that assess the strengths, weaknesses, and challenges facing the human rights movement domestically and internationally. In addition, students will be responsible for project-based work guided by Professor Sonnenberg. |
