Introduction to Probability and Statistics for Economic Analysis ECON 103 Fall 2026 Section: 01   02   This course studies the mathematical concepts of probability and statistics as needed for ECON 300 and upper-level economics electives. Topics include sampling, descriptive statistics, probability distributions, estimation, and hypothesis testing. Students who received a 4 or 5 on the AP Statistics exam or have completed a course equivalent to MATH 132 or 231 are not allowed to take this course.
