In this lab course students will learn about and participate in educational qualitative research. Students will learn how to do document analysis focused on legislative mandates on professional development in Connecticut over the last 15 years. In addition, they will observe the professor conducting interviews and focus groups with educators to help identify themes. Students will be trained to use qualitative data to identify trends, themes, and possible findings. |
